Who are you?
Kjell Gulliksen. 61-years old and work as a Project Manager within Architect & interior design of LQ. Has 30 years in this discipline. 15 years within Cruise ships in Asia, USA, Russia and South America.
My education is in electrical engineering, but after 10 years with this subject I started with my hobby of furniture carpentry and interior design. Apprenticed for 5 years at Lystad interior in Sandefjord. On the Color Line. After this I started at Masa Yard in Turku Finland on the new Eagle Class in 1999 which were then the largest ships in the Caribbean.
Also has a long time in ST. Petersburg with canal boats for Viking Line. After this, I was brought in to Bilfinger to be responsible for the total rebuilding of the Oseberg Felt Center as well as many other projects for Equinor.

What do you work with?
Now I am working on acquiring and arranging all interior design jobs for Vår Energi. Also involved in the initiation of the jobs. What I think is the most important thing is to have contact with the industry and the customer network. What I find exciting about the job is that there are many different solutions and challenges together with the customer.
What project are you currently working on and how is it going?
Right now, I am working with HAP Balder after long planning and building up the time recording system for Vår Energi.
What are your dreams?
My dreams are that we enter contract with Equinor on the Architect and interior design discipline. There is an endless backlog of maintenance. And that we have a strengthened department to accommodate this.
That the Architect department can be handed over to some younger forces, and that I myself can be Iso leader on an installation in the last years of my professional life. Have been able to do this several times.
