This year, StS-ISONOR was nominated for the Safety and Sustainability Award at Vår Energi's annual Safety & Sustainability conference.
All the nominees gave presentations ahead of the award, and Managing Director, Ingrid Solheim gave a presentation focusing on our people.
She started by saying:

New hires are paired with a buddy and participate in safety meetings to build a safe work culture and understand essential procedures such as TIR and lifesaving rules.
Culture of Collaboration and Innovation
We collaborate with suppliers to identify new technologies and products that can improve the work environment, while maintaining open lines of communication.
Ingrid concluded her speech by saying:

" This company demonstrates commitment to safety in their maintenance and modification work for all our assets. Their proactive approach and collaborative efforts contribute to a safe workplace. Using TIR in practice by fronting cases to improve the way we work and initiating training in permit to work process. They have stepped up to support urgent manpower need during HAP activities and work proactively to onboard newcomers and facilitate discussions on conduct and behaviours as a proactive measure".
