StS-ISONOR introduces JettyRobot for pipe and tank rehabilitation

StS-ISONOR has entered a collaboration with JettyRobot and can now offer innovative robot-based solutions for pipe and tank rehabilitation in the oil and gas industry. The technology makes it possible to extend the lifespan of existing infrastructure, reduce the need for replacement, and carry out maintenance in a more efficient, safe, and sustainable way.

Robotsystem

JettyRobot is an advanced robotic system capable of performing several different tasks inside pipes, including cleaning, surface preparation, inspection, and dry film thickness measurement. This creates new opportunities for documented pipe rehabilitation in areas where traditional methods can be challenging, costly, or demanding from an HSE perspective.

One of the main advantages of the solution is that the work can be carried out without people having to enter the pipes. This contributes to improved safety and reduced risk, while robotic technology provides high precision and strong control of the process. For customers, this means a more predictable process, reduced downtime, and a cost-effective alternative to replacement.

The Cooperation

The collaboration with JettyRobot complements StS-ISONOR’s existing pipe rehabilitation solutions. While the company already has strong methods for smaller pipe dimensions, JettyRobot enables work in larger pipes – from approximately 10 inches up to 50 inches. This allows StS-ISONOR to offer a broader range of rehabilitation solutions to the industry.

-With JettyRobot, we gain access to technology that represents an important step forward for the industry. The solution delivers benefits in terms of HSE, sustainability, and cost, while making it possible to renew pipes and tanks instead of replacing them.

For StS-ISONOR, this is about combining specialist expertise, documented methods, and new technology to develop the future of industrial maintenance. Robotic rehabilitation gives the industry better opportunities to preserve existing infrastructure – in a safer, more efficient, and more sustainable way.
