StS ISONOR Named a 2025 Gazelle Company

Long-term industrial innovation, safety and the people behind the growth

StS ISONOR Named a 2025 Gazelle Company

In connection with the recognition, the company is featured in Bransjemagasinet, which highlights how StS ISONOR is challenging the ISO industry through innovation, safety and specialised solutions. Bransjemagasinet, represented by Martin Fotland, visited us in Bergen at the end of January. He got a tour around both our local production facilities and our training centre.

The Gazelle recognition is awarded by Dagens Næringsliv to companies that have demonstrated strong and profitable growth over several years.

For StS ISONOR, the recognition confirms a focused strategy, strong professional expertise, and long‑term investments in technology, people and safety.

More than 50 years of safety, innovation and growth

With roots dating back to 1972 and approximately 700 employees representing 19 nationalities, the company has built a strong position both nationally and internationally.

Today, StS ISONOR is the only 100 per cent Norwegian-owned ISO contractor, with five branch offices in Norway and operations in the UK through StS Resources & Technology Ltd. This combination of strong local presence and global reach has been a key driver of growth in recent years.

Technology and innovation driving growth

In recent years, StS ISONOR has made significant investments in technology development, including the robotisation of surface treatment and the development of welding habitats in collaboration with the robotic welding company Effee. These solutions make it possible to carry out maintenance as hot work while facilities remain in operation – delivering major benefits to customers through increased efficiency and reduced downtime.

The company has also developed new methods for internal cleaning and coating of pipes, extending the service life of existing installations. This reduces the need for new construction, delivers environmental benefits, and improves HSE performance by removing operators from exposure to noise and vibration.

Gazelle Company 2025 – the result of a long-term strategy

The 2025 Gazelle recognition is the result of a clear strategy, strategic acquisitions, and strong trust from customers, employees and owners.

Today, more than 50 per cent of the company’s revenue is linked to strategic initiatives within innovation, technology development and acquisitions.

The people behind the numbers

Behind the growth are highly skilled and experienced employees. Many have worked in the company for 30–40 years, and the transfer of competence between generations is a key part of the culture. StS ISONOR is currently in a recruitment phase and is seeking both skilled workers and engineers who want to contribute to further development – in Norway and internationally.

Looking ahead

With 54 years of experience and new market segments on the horizon, StS ISONOR will continue to build on its expertise from the oil and gas industry and transfer this competence into areas such as hydropower and process industry. The goal is clear: to develop even safer, more efficient and more sustainable solutions for the industry in the years to come.
