Meet Marcus Haugland Kleppe! He started with us as a summer worker when he was 17 years old. When he was 19, he was offered a permanent position here and accepted!
Now, as Marcus is soon turning 21, he has had a permanent job with us since he was 19, and we are happy to have him on our team!
We believe part of the reason he started so early with us is that his father also works here, in the facade department. Christian Kleppe has been with us for more than 25 years! He has worked his way up from apprentice to skilled worker and now as an operations coordinator!
There is much to suggest that Marcus also has career plans. When BA visited StS-ISONOR, they were simply fascinated by young Marcus who was loading scaffolding onto the car in typical western Norway weather!

Who are you?
Marcus Haugland Kleppe and I am a scaffolder at StS-ISONOR. My education is in the field of data electronics with a trade certificate in that profession.
What do you work with? What are the most important tasks, what is exciting about your job?
I work with setting up scaffolding and securing it and finding good solutions so that the customer is satisfied. Some of the most important tasks are to ensure that people are properly secured and that we have safe work while being efficient and making good use of time.
I find it exciting to be able to build something from scratch and get a sense of accomplishment by coming up with good solutions.
I enjoy the work and think we have skilled and pleasant colleagues.
Which project are you on now and how is it going?
On the facade, we travel to different projects, and there can be various challenges to overcome.
What do you dream about?
I dream of working my way up to a good career with a good position where I can have more personnel responsibility and feel useful. I want to get a trade certificate in scaffolding.
There are many different opportunities in the company that I can also consider. So time will tell 😊
