Who are you?

Karl Inge Sellæg, 45 years old, Rope access technician, with extensive scaffolding and mechanical experience.

What do you work with? Professionally and Personally: What are the most important tasks, what is exciting about your job?

Rope access techniques with varied tasks. A lot of varied work and good colleagues with good camaraderie when we are at work.

Which project are you on now and how is it going?

On the last trip, the tasks were painting the flare, but due to a lot of weather and wind, alternative jobs such as cable pulling and strapping were done. As the first trip as a rope access supervisor, it was extra exciting to work with unknown people while being responsible for the safety of the RAT team. Even with a few butterflies in my stomach, it worked out just fine.

What do you dream about?

I have got my dream job as a rope access supervisor and am very satisfied with it.
