Fall Protection

StS-ISONOR is a certified training provider offering fall protection courses in accordance with NS 9610 Fall Protection. We provide certified training in theoretical training, area-specific training, and training in the use of rescue equipment. For anyone working at height or in environments where a fall without protection would have serious consequences. Fall accidents occur far too often at workplaces, and proper risk understanding combined with correct use of fall protection equipment is essential to prevent serious incidents. By participating in our fall protection and rescue courses, you will receive thorough and safe training from us as an NS 9610-certified training organisation.

About the Course

StS-ISONOR is a certified training provider offering fall protection courses in accordance with NS 9610 Fall Protection. We provide certified training in the theoretical and practical use of fall protection equipment tailored to different work areas.

Fall accidents occur far too often at workplaces. Proper risk understanding combined with correct use of fall protection equipment is essential to prevent serious incidents. By participating in our fall protection and rescue courses, you will receive thorough and safe training from us as an NS 9610-certified training organisation.

Whether you work offshore with fall protection or on rooftops and structures onshore, we provide practical and theoretical training tailored to your needs. After completing the course, you will have a solid understanding of legislation and standards, user instructions, employer/employee responsibilities, risk assessment and rescue planning, selection of correct fall protection and rescue equipment, pre-use checks and periodic inspection, correct use of fall protection equipment, and how to rescue a colleague when necessary.

Course Information

Duration

From 1 to 3 days. The duration varies depending on which areas of the standard the training covers. All courses include a theoretical part of approximately 4 hours.

Target Group

For anyone working at height or in environments where a fall without protection would have serious consequences. The course is suitable for all who will use fall protection equipment in their daily work, regardless of industry.

Entry Requirements

No specific entry requirements for the basic fall protection course. For co-worker rescue, participants must have completed an area-specific course, for example A.1 Scaffolding or A.2 Mast/Antenna/Drilling Tower. For organised rescue preparedness, participants must have completed A.8 Petroleum area-specific practical training.

Certificate Validity

The certificate is valid for 4 years. Maintenance of fall protection competence shall be carried out as required, but at least every 4 years. Maintenance of rescue competence shall be carried out as required, but at least every 2 years.
