StS-ISONOR is experiencing increasing demand and is hiring engineers and planners for several of our locations. We are looking for candidates with a technical background who want to work in a dynamic professional environment with varied responsibilities.

Work location: Stavanger/Bergen. Permanent placement at current or future project sites may also be relevant.

We currently have projects in the following areas: Stavanger, Bergen, Øygarden, Mongstad, Stord, Skien, Grimstad.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and follow up detailed project plans in collaboration with the project team using the planning tool Pims
  • Define scope of work and provide input on material selection and execution methods
  • Identify critical activities, deadlines, and milestones in projects
  • Prepare work packages for insulation, scaffolding, and surface treatment, including:
    • Ordering materials and preparing jobs
    • Drawing and 3D modeling
    • Site inspections, measurements, and quality control on facilities and projects
    • Identify risks and opportunities in schedules to ensure project success
    • Ensure alignment between schedules and financial targets
    • Contribute to detailed planning and progress reporting during the installation phase of projects

Qualifications

  • Technical education at college or university level (relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education)
  • Experience from projects within the energy/industrial sector is desirable
  • Work experience as an engineer, planner, inspector, or field worker in projects is an advantage
  • Experience with method descriptions, estimation according to standards, establishment of MTO, and strong drawing comprehension
  • Solid IT skills; familiarity with PIMS is an advantage
  • Good language skills in Scandinavian/English, both written and oral
